Bayou City Classic 10K & 5K Fun Run

The 49th Annual Bayou City Classic 10K and 5k Fun Run Saturday, March 7, 2026** **The 49th running of the Bayou City Classic 10K, Texas' oldest 10K race, will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 8AM (Hand-Cycle/Pushrim start is 7:50AM). The 5K Fun Run/Walk will start at 8:20AM (Hand-Cycle/Pushrim start is 8:15AM).** **The event takes place in the heart of downtown Houston (Hermann Square adjacent to City Hall). This is a family-friendly, all-inclusive event. We invite EVERYONE to participate. Wheelchair/Pushrim participants are welcomed and encouraged. Proceeds from the Bayou City Classic are donated to the Houston Parks & Recreation Department to improve our city parks and preserve our trees. This non-profit event is organized by the **Houston Area Road Runners Association (HARRA)**, an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to promote running as a competitive sport and a healthful exercise.
