On January 2, 2027, history will be made in Texas on the "Northeast Texas Trail" (NETT) with the launch of the IRON HORSE Endurance Run — featuring the first-ever true point-to-point 100K in Texas and the state’s first near point-to-point 100-mile.
This isn’t just another ultra — it’s the biggest, baddest race Texas ultrarunning has ever seen. Runners will charge across the vast, untamed stretches of the NETT, a flat, open, and deceptively fast corridor that cuts through small towns, bridges, prairies, and rugged backcountry on gravel, dirt, pavement, and grass.
