Join the Southlake Showdown 5K Series – Fall 2026 Edition and be part of a fun, welcoming 16-week run/walk series built around fitness, community, and friendly competition. We meet every Thursday from August 20 through December 10 at Lake Carillon Park in Southlake, with no event on Thanksgiving Day, November 26.
Whether you’re chasing a personal record, training for an upcoming race, walking with friends, or simply looking for a positive community event, the Southlake Showdown is for you. This free weekly event brings together participants of all ages and ability levels to enjoy a safe, scenic 5K route in the heart of Southlake, free from traffic.
New this fall is the Pick Six Challenge! Participants can predict the final score of each week’s featured football game and earn points for participating, selecting the correct winner, and predicting the closest combined score. Weekly results and season standings will be available online so participants can track their progress.
